Building Opportunities for Students Through STEM

The South Kingstown Robotics Foundation was created to expand opportunities for students to explore robotics, engineering, technology, and other STEM fields through hands-on experiences.

We believe some of the most valuable learning happens when students have the opportunity to build something, solve a difficult problem, work alongside teammates, and discover what they're capable of accomplishing. Our role is to help make those opportunities possible.

Our Mission

The South Kingstown Robotics Foundation supports robotics and STEM education by providing resources, creating opportunities, and building partnerships that help students learn, compete, innovate, and grow.

Our initial focus is to support robotics programs in the South Kingstown community, with a long-term vision that includes expanding access to STEM experiences and providing scholarships for students pursuing STEM-related education.

Support — Provide robotics and STEM programs with the resources, equipment, and funding they need to give students meaningful hands-on experiences.

Educate — Create opportunities for students to develop technical skills, solve real-world problems, collaborate with teammates, and learn through experience.

Empower — Help students build the confidence, curiosity, and skills to pursue future opportunities in STEM.

A Community Effort

Strong STEM programs grow through the support of an entire community. Families, mentors, local businesses, engineers, volunteers, donors, and community organizations all play an important role by contributing their time, expertise, and resources.

Looking Ahead

As the Foundation grows, our goal is to expand support for robotics and STEM programs, develop partnerships with local businesses and organizations, and establish scholarship opportunities for students continuing their education in STEM fields.
